ALIGNED PILATES STANDS FOR ALL THINGS JOSEPH PILATES

HIS METHOD OF EXERCISE, APPARATUS, AND TRAINING 

Aligned Pilates upholds the work of Joseph Pilates. Training is carried out on apparatus that has been designed after the original apparatus invented by Joseph Pilates. Students will train on the reformer, mat, cadillac, wunda chair, high chair, arm chair, spine corrector, small barrel, ladder barrel, and auxiliary apparatus in private, semi-private and independent group workouts.

What is pilates?

Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates, along with his wife Clara taught to devoted followers in their New York City studio up until the late 1960's.

Why aligned?

In keeping true with Joseph Pilates system, you will learn exercises that are good for your body on his apparatus under the guidance of our certified teachers.

How Do I get Started?

Your first session at Aligned Pilates will be an initial assessment followed by private lessons with your teacher. With practice and time your teacher will guide you to be ready for our AP Workouts.

AP (Aligned Pilates) Workouts are for students to train their own program under the guidance of a teacher with other fellow students. Independent group workouts teach the student to focus, develop a flow, and gain a sense of independence as they move around the studio training on all of Joseph Pilates' apparatus.
